Adio shoes history started in 1998 by skate shoes exec. American Chris Miller who owns Planet Earth Skateboards, and before retiring was a Professional Skateboarder himself. Skate boards being made of seven layers of Canadian maple saw great sales in the early 90s, but with inexpensive boards being made overseas from cheap labour, the skate companies focus changed to Skate Shoes and Skate apparel. The Adio shoes company is actually pronounced (Audio) and specialize in Adio men’s skate shoes and Adio women’s skate shoes but also produce sandals and designer trainers.
